Freya yawned loudlly, waking up from a beautiful nap. Or... it seemed she had slept quite a bit longer than a simple nap. Dawn was already approaching, small amounts of sunlight dancing through the window. She stretched a crink out of her neck; that was the last time she was going to fall asleep on her desk... for real this time.
She stood sleepily, trying to psyche herself up for this day. There was still the matter of their prisoner... it was a conversation she dreaded, for it would likely go poorly. Slowly she made her way down to the first floor. Before she could reach the basement, the main door slammed open. She jumped visibly.
Volund practically stumbled in, looking like he might collapse at any moment. Well that made sense, he'd been up the entire night chasing a ghost... literally. "Any luck, Volund?" Freya asked, grinning a little sheepishly on his behalf.
"I think so...? I'm not entirely sure," he sighed. "I feel like somehow I missed something. Well, at least today should be a quiet day..."
(Gonna PM certain details to 1-2 people in a moment)

Jac wanted to murder his alarm clock.
He'd been up all night training, and went to bed 15 minutes before his alarm clock went off. He's not a morning person, and this was not going to make his day.
He couldn't stop thinking about what Elminsc said. "The people that are attacking Shaddai... They march against you, as well. But they underestimate your forces. Tomorrow they will send a small team to strike swiftly, and hope to claim your clan's base." That's why he'd been training, and drinking more coffee, though he was trying to do without. Why am I trusting what the ghost says? he thought. She practically tried to kill us, and she was going on about some "will of the planet" nonsense.
Man, I'm tired... Despite his desire to go back to sleep, he knew he had to go to the breifing in the main hall. He grabbed his ragged old bronze blade, which had two new fenrir tooth-sized holes in them.
Great! The only momento of my dad besides the stupid mark, and it's ruined.
He immediately thought of his "mark of change". He held the spot where it layed, and it felt hot. Way too hot for human skin. He looked in a mirror and saw that that the eye sockets in the skull were glowing red.
That's gotta be good.
Man, I'm tired.
Shut up.
He finished getting dressed and headed out. When he made it to the meeting hall, he took a seat in the back and took a nap.
Thank you
Shut up.

Stefan stood up with a sigh as the first rays of sunlight came through the window. He had been looking forward to a good night's rest after coming back from a solo mission, the best kind of mission in his opinion, that may or may not have a connection to the disappearance of his parents. Instead he woke up when the others came back, especially this one guy that was boasting about how he punched a fenrir in the face or something like that was really annoying and after he woke up he just couldn't stop thinking about his parents.
He got dressed, grabbed his sword and after checking his knives he left. Originally he had been planning to grab something to eat and enjoy his meal somewhere quiet before the others went for breakfast, but on his way to the kitchen he heard something in the main hall and decided to check out what was happening over there this early in the morning.

Too early after too late, stupid ghost only haunting at night I barely got any sleep after I told everyone about my heroic manliness. I wonder where Adelbern is, with any luck he impressed some nice lass and is gentlemanly conducting himself. I suppose I should make my way to the main hall for the meeting perhaps it will be a breakfast meeting, oh wait I don't know if anyone here actually knows how to cook besides myself and there is no way I'm cooking for everyone else when I just want food for myself, besides I'm too tired to make some anyways.
Well I see Jac sleeping in the corner there, wonder if he slept here all night, I should've done that then I wouldn't have had to wake up to get here. Perhaps I can talk to the other, oh wait I already told him about it, hmmm perhaps I could tell it once mo- no probably not if I recall correctly he wasn't very jovial. I guess I'll just copy Jac and sleep a little longer.

Ulric and Raine made their way to the main hall and they seemed to be hauling a few things along with them. Raine carrying a platter with mugs, while Ulric brought in a cart of sorts containing various foods. The platter and cart were left near the center table, Ulric and Raine grabbed a mug and proceeded to have a seat near the window where the morning breeze crept in.

Nikolas wasn't allowed in the interrogation room to question the thief, something about him being too violent... So he spent the rest of the day destroying dummies in the training court. The luna part of the alliance got back during the night after their ghost hunt, seems they had to fight some kind of big wolves, a little more interesting than what he though they'd find, but still not better than having a true blade fight.
The next morning, Nikolas went to the meeting room. Some people were already there, a guy sleeping on his chair, an old man sleeping not too far away, some people eating... He opted for that option, went to the food platter and took an apple. Not the sociable type, he sat down on a chair and waited for the leaders to get in the room.

Everything told him to not bother with these people. They'd left the battlefield as a unit, but were hardly worth his efforts or time. He knew Elminsc, knew her game, if the stories about her were any indication. She was a trickster, as much a manipulator as anyone Jayt had heard of. He waited until the lot of them were gone, staying surrounded by the fenrir corpses. It wasn't like he had much else to do at the moment.
But the idea of a masked man, someone from Jayt's past, wouldn't leave his mind. It irked him to think she might have actually convinced him to stay in the area. There were other things he wanted to be certain of as well, things that he'd been swept into rather than stepped into but he was still involved with. He ran a hand over his face. Great - here he'd thought he wouldn't have to do this again.
Jayt stayed at the local inn, avoiding the clan's base until the absolute last moment. He knew they were planning on meeting that morning, though if there was nothing to keep him here (if the masked man was uninvolved) then he would simply leave. He held no loyalty whatsoever to the clans, especially one as naive as this one. These people wouldn't survive a day out there - wolves and thieves would be the least of their troubles if the Exodites were involved.
Dead or not, they were still trouble.
He studied the entrance of the base, his hood up and face hidden in shadow. The people of Ragnarok didn't even give him a second look as they went about their business. Jayt snuck into the building, staying out of the way, and found the meeting hall easily enough. A few people were already there - one sleeping, he noticed with a smirk - but they again had nothing to do with him. He headed to the windowsill and hoisted himself up, drawing one leg up and watching everything from his new perch, his hood still up and features still hidden.

Volund had collapsed on a chair, his head face first onto the table. Freya took it upon herself to mingle with the others. The morning had come and they had all accomplished quite a bit. She spotted a few new faces in the mix. She slid next to Stefan, grinning widely as she patted him across the back... perhaps with a bit too much strength, as she was prone to doing. "Welcome back!" She hummed cheerfully. "It's been unusually loud around here recently. Tales of ghosts and brigands and the like. But I'm afraid they've all been dealt with, and it'll likely be quiet around here again."
When she looked up, Freya saw Jayt near the entrance. "Oh!" She jumped up, completely taken off guard by his re-appearance. "Cecil!" She called out happily, and far too loudly, earning quite a few glances. In a flash, she had already made her way next to him. "I'm so glad you decided to visit!" She harbored none of the suspicion that her brother carried. "If you came to check out that job about the masked thief, I'm afraid you're too late. Turns out there were actually two thieves... we managed to capture one, but the other unfortunately met his end." She shot a glare in Nikolas's direction, although she doubted he could hear the conversation. "But if you're looking for other work..."
Before she could finish, a soldier burst through the front door. "C-Commanders!" He shouted loudly, looking about frantically.
"What is it?" Freya ran to his side. She recognized him as one of Volund's men. He appeared uninjured, but frantic...
Volund was waking up at all the commotion...
"There's... there's strange creatures in the sky. We spotted some dragons and their riders, but the others..."
Freya and Volund were already both running outside. A host of their clan followed them.
Shielding her eyes, Freya looked up. The figures were still far away, and their V-like wing formation could have been mistaken as birds. They were still far away, and any details were difficult to make out... except that there were perhaps a dozen or so of them all together.
"A visit from Gael's dracoknights...?" Volund wondered, now fully awake.
"But they're coming from the complete opposite direction of Gael... I suppose it's possible, but..." Freya frowned.
The small figures were quickly becoming larger. They traveled very quickly, and seemed to be headed directly for the Celestial HQ. The larger figures were clearly dragons, possessing darker and longer wings than a bird could manage. But the others were a pure white, and smaller in form... whatever they were.
"Perhaps we should be ready to entertain guests. They might be emissaries, from one of Suzaku's clans, or... or maybe some other place we haven't heard of," Freya bit her lip.
"And perhaps we should ready our weapons, in case they come without a mindset for peace. That's a rather large group for just an emissary," Volund said. But still a very small group for an attack...

The commotion had failed to wake Jac. His sleep was far too deep, and full of horrors...
At first, it was the usual terror. The burning manor and the darkly clad figure. His and his mother's doppleganger. The death of the mother. But afterward, instead of waking, he fell deeper into his own conscious.
The C.A. headquarters was ablaze. Many creatures (Jac didn't know what they were, but they certainly weren't human) were fighting the last standing members of Sol and Luna. Only Freya, Volund, Nikolas, Bearnard and Adlebern, and a few other sol He didn't know by name were still fighting. As time progressed, his comrades grew tired. Adlebern collasped, and Bearnard was slain rushing to his aid. The Sol were shocked, therefore distracted and slain as well. The only Sol to remain were Nikolas and Freya. They both had a certain fire in there eyes, but of different tone. Freya's fire was angry, but shielding. She was fighting to protect. With Nikolas, his was of passion, of excitement, he has having fun being the only one to rampage. Jac wasn't proud of it, but he was jealous of that. He was jealous of Nikolas' power, of his ability to disregard and even enjoy taking life. A shade then appeared before Jac, obstructing the view of everything but Nikolas.
"You want to be like him, don't you? Powerful, passionate about battle, and careless within it. You want to go wild don't you".
To that, Jac didn't answer. Nothing horrific woke him then. Only the searing pain of his mark woke him, to find uninvited guests descending on their meeting. He wanted to ask what was happening, but the pain wouldn't let him do anything. He couldn't think straight, his head was spinning, splitting. All he could do is sit there and wait, hoping he could recover quickly so he could join in the new events, be he needed.

At the sound of a far too chipper voice, Jayt cringed and tried to keep a blank look on his face without the added expression of biting into a lemon. His interest was only piqued when she mentioned the masked men. Two of them...could one really be the person he was looking for?
"I...see," he commented blandly. "That's too bad."
He followed her gaze to Nikolas, who simply sat alone and waited. Jayt's jaw tightened; if the masked man went down so easily, it was clearly not the person he was looking for. Still, there was another...
The shouts of the men outside went ignored. He waited for the bumbling clan to flee outside and took any path leading downwards. It wasn't long before he found the dungeons on the lowest level.
Jayt took a deep breath and opened the cell door. The man was chained to the back wall, clearly a prisoner unable to do much.
"Who are you, and where did you get that mask?" Jayt hissed softly, his hands resting on the blade triggers in his palms.

Some unknown guy got inside the meeting hall while they were waiting for the clan leaders to start the meeting. The outsider didn't seem like he wanted to talk to anyone, has he was dressed with a hooded cape that covered most of his face and body. He went directly for the window, after scouting the place, and sat there, waiting for god knows what.
Freya started walking and talking to some people, like Stefan who came back from a solo mission during their last one. She ended up screaming a name and went directly to the new guy, seems she knew him. Nikolas glared at them for 2 or 3 seconds and then tried to find Volund, if his sister was going to chitchat with everyone, maybe HE would tell them the reason of this meeting... nope the guy is still asleep. Nikolas closed his eyes and tilted his head backward, it was starting to look like a boring morning.
"C-Commanders!"
One of those useless guard came in, shouting. Freya went toward him. Nikolas fixed the man with his hand not so far from his sword, if it wasn't for the leaders being in the same room, he'd slay the man right here for being annoying.
"What is it?"
"There's... there's strange creatures in the sky. We spotted some dragons and their riders, but the others..."
Both leaders ran outside has he finished talking (surprise, Volund woke up with all the commotion). Nikolas decided to follow them, uninvited guests could end up being interesting and his blade could use some more fighting.
He got outside a little bit after the others, so when he got out, Nikolas had missed the beggining of their conversation. He looked at the sky to see the group flying toward them.
"Perhaps we should be ready to entertain guests. They might be emissaries, from one of Suzaku's clans, or... or maybe some other place we haven't heard of"
Nikolas sighed as she said that, there was way too many people for just some political visit.
"And perhaps we should ready our weapons, in case they come without a mindset for peace. That's a rather large group for just an emissary"
At least one of them can think straight.. Nikolas took his sword out right after Volund talked.

Raine and her brother were enjoying the morning airs along with their breakfast when they heard the news from Freya and Volund. Ulric had his equipment on-hand already though Raine had to return to her quarters for hers.
Ulric waited aside the other warriors as they prepared to meet their guests. Upon leaving her room, Raine remembered how worn out Ulric's tomahawk had become and ventured into the lower levels of the HQ to find the armory. She found a new replacement tomahawk rather quickly and exited the room, but as she left she noticed that the entrance to the dungeon was open.
"That's strange, shouldn't everyone be upstairs right now?"
Raine thought as she placed the tomahawk down against the wall. She crept into the dungeon ever so carefully in case prisoners may have escaped, she did not want to alert anyone of her presence. Venturing a bit further Raine could hear sounds coming from a nearby cell. Almost stricken with fear she clung to the wall and tried to hear what was going on.

*Yawn* *Sniff sniff* I don't ever remember smelling in a dream so that must mean. "Ah! Wonderful it is a breakfast meeting, let's see here I'll take some of this and a little of that and oh yes can't forget bread *nom* and muhmbey a hmmm, whur if urvyone." It looks like I'm the only one who has taken some food so wherever they are it must be important, and while I would like to eat I should look for them and- oh wait they there are looking outside. Well I could go join in at least but, oh wait some are still in here so back to breakfast.
Heading back to his spot Bearnard headed back, "Almost forgot the beverage." saying for no real reason and after choosing a mug he headed back arms almost as full as his plate.

"Blarghhh...," Kale exclaimed as the sunlight hit his eyes. Dam, that wasn't even a sound humans make ... He kicked the covers offa himself and went to brush his teeth. As he was gettin dressed he glanced at his phone's... clock... well shit.
-------------
Kale was late... again. Kale was runnin... again. Godamit. Shit... if this place had better internet I wouldn't hav spent most of the night streamin No*rin and D-Fr*g... He would hav a word with Freya later... As Kale sighed, he looked up to the sky and saw what appeared to be geese flyin in a V-Formation towards HQ... wait no, they were much more scaly... the fuck?
Kale finally arrived outside the door of the meetin place. He had to be careful now, too much noise and Freya would probably lecture him on his tardiness... Not fun.
Damit, why are there no cardboard boxes... There were a ton of new faces: Hooded guy, old guy, other guy... such diversity... so wow. Kale wanted to approach Niki, but with the sword out and all... he felt much safer next to the old drunkard.

The prisoner was faced away from Jayt, until he spoke. Gasping, the thief turned to face Jayt. As Jayt had expected... this prisoner did not look familiar. He shrank back as far as he could go, pressing himself against the wall. The chain clinked lightly beneath his ankle; keeping him trapped even with the open door. “Wh-who are you?” He was clearly alarmed; he didn't recall seeing this particular man in the clan... and Freya had already asked him plenty of questions. “I already promised I wouldn't make any more trouble... honest! My brother made the masks, so we didn't steal them... really...”
-----
The figures continued to get larger, growing closer. If there was any doubt before, it no longer existed... they were definitely headed straight towards the Alliance's HQ. Freya, Volund, and some of the others had gone back in the base to prepare weapons. Although they were kept close, they kept them sheathed.
The petite figures looked akin to white-furred horses, albeit flew with angelic wings. Pegasi, once thought to have been myth, flew side by side the dragons. Each mount possessed a rider; each garbed in identical white platemail and a steel helmet. They were unlike anything that Volund or Freya had seen... Their fabled pegasi mounts and garb spoke of no known clan. They carried no flag nor banner.
The Alliance had formed a small group, ready to greet the newcomers. Instead of landing, however, the fliers dispersed and circled slowly around the base. In the horizon's distance, a pegasus was still on its way... perhaps they were waiting for that one to arrive....
“Hail, newcomers! Might you land so we can speak?” Freya shouted, curiously looking up at the circling group.
One of the wyvern riders circled around at her words, perhaps taking notice. He swooped down, yet instead of landing... in his hand was a lance...
Volund barely had enough time to tackle his sister out of the way. The wyvern and lance missed harmlessly, leaving Freya and Volund both plastered against the ground. “They're clearly not here to talk,” Volund fumbled to his feet, taking out his own spear. “Everyone to arms! We'll find out who they are later – defending headquarters is our first priority!”
The pegasi and draco owners had all taken out their weapons already. In and out they darted, clearly aiming to kill whatever clan member they could reach... There were only a dozen or so fliers, and were clearly outnumbered... yet that didn't seem to matter. The Celestial Alliance was under attack...
((Forgot to add, since they're attacking, you can kill things))
