This is the beginning of the RP which was originally on FEP. I am copy/pasting members' posts here, so that we can use it as a record.

In the world of Terca, clans were the ruling authority of government matters. They decided who was innocent and who was guilty. And similar to guilds, they also offered jobs for their members. The locals would post their problems, which the clan members would complete, for a fair price in gold.
Forty years ago the entire world had suffered from an intense war... One of fiercest battles of that war was within the land of Ragnarok. But at its end, all the people were desperate to pick up the remnants of their lives, and began to rebuild in peace.
Within the land of Ragnarok, two clans known as Luna and Sol were formed in a response to the people's plight. Sol was formed by a hardy woman determined to help her friends and family. Luna was formed by one of Ragnarok's previous council members. He gathered the remaining Ragnarok soldiers and refocused his purpose to helping the people.
After just a few years, these two clans realized that their love of the people of Ragnarok were one and the same. And so the two wed, in order to unify both their clans, into the collective clan which became known as the Celestial Alliance. The clan leaders gave birth to two children.
Volund, the oldest son, trained under his father to one day lead the Luna faction in the Celestial Alliance. Similarily, the daughter Freya, trained under her mother to one day lead the Sol faction of the Celestial Alliance. Soon the time came for their parents to step down, and the siblings took control of the clan.
The Celestial Alliance's base had been built well, with everything a potential clan member could desire. There was a barrack, mess hall, main hall, strategy room, armory, and even a stable for those with horses or dragons. Within the strategy room, a solitary figure sat in one of the chairs. Her head was down on the table's wood, arms sprawled out unceremoniously.
The door to the room opened. "Freya..." The disappointed voice of her brother. He shoved her, none too gently, to wake her from slumber. "Wake up! It's almost time."
"Wha... huh..." Despite Volund's rude shaking, she took a while to wake up. "What...?" She blinked sleepily up at him. "Time for what?" She yawned.
"For the clan meeting..." Volund growled, but without any true bitter. "Everyone's supposed to gather in the main hall. They might be waiting for us already. Remember?"
"Oh... Right!" Freya stretched, waking up quickly. "Okay... let's go see who managed to make it!"
The main hall was the very first place newcomers would see if they walked inside the base. Here, people could post requests for assistance on a large job board. Clan members could take on missions from this location.
Volund and Freya entered together; time to see who had answered their call for the meeting...

Orcatess' eyes opened before they were open. The light from his window direct its full attention to his cracked features, and his lips stuttered words that his leather tongue could not keep up with. With one eye he trailed down his ancient frame to where his decrepit friend stood near his waist: his journal. He peered down to his last entry, "Is moral excellence a divine gift?" to which his pen trailed, along with his consciousnesses the night before. With one meager push he prompted himself to the edge of his bed, hunched, where he laid his earthly hands to his face.
"Another day commands me to the main hall..." He thought to himself, as he drew in the sweet summer air. "May the children of this generation breed prosperity."
Orcatess reaches for his shield and sword, but hesitates. "No... I will make more of a statement without these." He grabs his robes, his journal, and his leather cap. Before leaving he catches a glimpse of himself -- with over 40 decades of battle behind him, his body is left hunched slightly with arthritic features. His face is weathered beaten, furrowed, but also craggy; and his grayed hair leans slightly to his left under his cap, which normally would not be touched after awaking. His hands curl slightly inwards, and his fingers are warped from holding a clenched ideal far longer than any man should. His clothes are of ordinary standards: a brown and white surcoat with a white undershirt, tan brais, and a necklace with Nexus' symbol. He touches his journal, breathes deeply, and heads North to the main hall.

Bearnard had arrived early to the main hall, but not early enough, Adlebern was already waiting. Bearnard was about to say something but Adelbern wasn't ready to let his old man be the first at anything today and spoke first.
"Whatever happened to your habit of being late, I was relying on it to have a few moments without you hovering over me."
His tone holding as much irritation as the words themselves had mocking, Bearnard knew he didn't really hate him as much as that but it didn't lessen the sting.
"Well If you truly want a moment I suppose I can hover quietly over here for awhile, better make the most of your moment cause once the others get here I'm going to brag about my son until my face is blue and yours is red." Bearnard ended with a little chuckle knowing this would torture the boy for a while, it always worked on himself whenever his father did it to him.
Bearnard just sat happily waiting enjoying the fact that Adlebern was probably writhing on the inside, but the good kind of writhing of course the kind caused by love and grandmothers.

Every night, that same dream. A manor burning on a hill covered in snow. 8 youths, watching as a dark, hooded figure watches his creation. As he turns around, one blood red eye stares out at him. Among these youths, he would see himself, but it isn't him.
"That isn't me, so what am I doing here? What am I seeing?" he would ask. Though his question would fall upon deaf ears, for none even noticed his presence.
Just as the hooded figure begins to attack the youths, a woman would come out. "Mother..." He would think. He wants to go to her, to help her, for it looks as though she is badly wounded, but he just keeps watching, unable to do anything.
"Jac!" She would shout. "Get out of here! Save yourself!"
The figure would turn toward her, glaring with malice from his glowing eye. "So you're still alive," he would say. "You Icewolf curs are hardier than I thought."
"Icewolf?" He would think. "What's Icewolf?"
"You won't lay a finger on my son you monster!" She would say. After that, she would attack. She always strikes him in his shoulder, leaving a deep wound.
"You wench!" He would always say. "Neither you nor your son can stand in my way!" With that, the figure would always counter, using some dark magic unbeknownst to the dreamer.
With that the woman would cripple. Seeing his injuries, the hooded figure would flee. The boy who looks like the dreamer would run up to his mother and she would say, "Jac, you are destined for greatness. Never... Forget that..."
With a scream, he wakes up. "That wasn't me, she wasn't my mother, so why do I keep having these dreams?"
Upon surveying the room, he notices a note left on his night stand. "Do not forget the meeting at the main hall." He reads.
"Alright then," he says, "I guess The dream can wait 'til later. I've got to get ready. Wouldn't do me good to show up late, now would it?"
With that he puts on some travelling clothes, straps his bronze to his side, then leaves for the main hall.
Fredmir
Nikolas made sure he was the first to be at the main hall for the meeting; he got up early, placed his sword in its sheath and his bow on his back, ready to go wherever he would be sent.
He was indeed the first one to get in, he picked a chair and took seat in the darkest corner of the room.
Whenever someone was entering the room, he would look at them, without saying anything, until they sat down somewhere or stopped moving. His hand always not too far from his sword.

Eddy awoke that morning as he did every morning, preparing his equipment and armor long before the others in his faction would awaken, and would climb atop the tallest tree to watch the rising sun. The sight of the celestial body invigorated his spirits and prepared him for the labors of the day.
As Eddy walked into the Sol division main hall, he began to study his companions, trying to determine everyone's skills. After studying everyone for awhile, he goes in search of a chair moving deftly through the crowds of his companions. He finally spots a sun-strewn chair near a window, only to see it occupied by someone else. Frowning with disappointment, he leans against a nearby wall and looks for the commanding officer
"Damnit, I guess I'll just stand..."

Volund and Freya, the sibling clan leaders, waited as more Celestial Alliance members entered. Some members were likely still off on missions, and might be too late to make it to the meeting.
"Alright everyone!" Freya began, grinning widely. "Thanks for coming. I know we don't normally all get together at the same time like this."
"We've received more jobs than what we know what to do with at the moment," Volund explained, getting right to the point. "Actually, our people of Ragnarok are in a bit of a worried frenzy. We've got more monsters, bandits, and ghost stories than ever before."
"So that's where we come in - Sol will focus on one mission while Luna takes the other," Freya continued. "Normally we'd just post them on the board for people to take whatever they want, but... well, we need to thin out some of this work right away."
"We'll start with the two most pressing jobs right now," Volund nodded. "The first is a job dealing with a masked bandit. The mask is made similar to the ones in Gaia. In the past, the Gaia clan members all wore masks, in an effort to hide their leader Kaisuke. But somehow this thief has gotten a hold of one of those masks. He's been stealing things for some time now, but recently his activities have become more violent and frequent. One of the residents saw him enter the ruins of an old castle. There's a good chance that he might be using that as a hideout of sorts."
"The second job is more of an investigation," Freya explained. "Considering our land's bloody history, it's not surprising that there are many tales of ghosts and other undead. Elminsc, one of the Exodite leaders, was at the head of the now extinct Ragnarok Council. She and some other Exodites killed many innocent civilians here. She and another Exodite were both ministrels of sorts, and there are tales of them singing while they razed the town. Well now there's some ghost story about a singer who appears at midnight, but only on nights without a moon. The songs pull a lot of bad memories for some of the older folks here... Whether it's a true ghost or some poor joke, that singing needs to stop. That's where we come in."
"So, those are the first two missions we'll be tackling..." Volund summarized. "We'll put it up to vote, and whatever faction has the most votes for their mission will get it. And we'll be leaving shortly after. So which mission do you want?"
Jac
"I vote for the bandit job. While I'd rather not get any blood on my blade, It's better than letting his crimes escalate to the point where an innocent dies," Said Jac.
Fredmir
"I'd rather go against the bandit than going ghost hunting, at least we know it's real and we can identity the threat" said Nikolas from his chair in the corner, "and I'd gladly accept to kill the thief, it's been a while since the last time I had the chance to fight with my blade."
(Quite short again, but we're only asked to answer the question =/ xP)

Eddy stands up to speak aloud and cast his vote.
"Although the slaying of a bandit sounds like fun, I think the ghost poses a more immediate problem as it could turn into a more serious issue to deal with later on." said Eddy. He sat back down and awaits his commanding officers final orders.
Nolan
Nolan wanders in randomly and late as per usual. "I'd go with whichever one pays the most," he said, "I guess that's the bandit. Maybe we can even steal his stolen treasures!"
Clock
"Bandits are a common ghosts are not, I'd say it's a near once in a lifetime task to be able to hunt one down, and besides a bandit makes people afraid of losing their things, a ghost makes people afraid of losing their soul so count me in for that!"
Bearnard stated hoping his son would choose the same, but he didn't seem to care which one he did, probably wanted the same job but didn't want to seem like he wanted to hang with his old man, oh well.
Akashi
Orcatess enters the room, after hearing what both Freya and Volund had to say.
"While I normally would let the younger generation lead our prerogatives," he stands next to Eddy and nods in a welcoming manner, "I am worried about the bandit. He could kill an innocent of our town, and the Ghost could be temporarily remedied by increasing our rounds of soldiers and also adding a curfew."
Meneil
"Dealing with the bandit does not necessarily guarantee that you'll be killing him," Volund frowned a little at Nikolas's words. He also cast a skeptical glance to some of the others, in case they had the same idea. "We don't even know who the man is. What if he's a local? I'd prefer for you to capture him, so he can stand trial for his crimes. And the treasure he stole will be returned to our people..." He glared a little at Nolan.
"Of course, if he gets really out of hand, you might have to kill him anyway..." Freya scratched her chin, before shrugging. "Well, it looks like we've got a perfect tie in votes," she frowned. "I guess that means Volund and I will have to be the tiebreakers."
They both paused for a moment, looking at each other, but they already knew their answers. "Bearnard, Orcatess, Jac and myself will go after the ghost," Volund nodded.
"Then I'll be taking Nikolas, Nolan, and Eddie to find the thief," Freya agreed. She'd be watching to make sure a certain individual wasn't overly violent. "We'll be leaving soon, so make sure you make any necessary preparations!"
"The ghost appears at night by the tombstones outside of town. I have another matter to attend to, so I'll meet the rest of Luna at the graveyard at sundown," Volund said.
((sorry had to coin flip for the tiebreaker >.>; I'll be adding the opening scenes tomorrow but feel free to post atm if you want))

"Man, I never get the fun missions... Oh well, What do we know about this bandit? I don't mean to be a stickler but I would prefer to know more information about the mission. Like do we have the location of his hideout and what do we know about the layout?" Eddy asked his companions.
It was not his first mission, but he wanted to be prepared to arm himself with the proper equipment and clothing for any possible travel.
