Everything went wrong pretty quick, the wyvern noticed it wasn't his master controlling his flight, so it went berserk, trying to throw Nikolas off. Almost everyone around him would probably hear the beast screeching, as it was getting closer and closer to the ground. Nikolas couldn't control it anymore, defending his head with his sword each time the wyvern would try to rip his head off with it's mouth. Neither of them noticed how close they were to the ground and that there was people fighting under them.
The wyvern hit the ground at good speed, killing itself on the shock, Nikolas was stunned a little bit, but at least he survived without much more injuries than he had before. The dead meat had been enough to withstand the shock. When he finally got himself together, he looked around, the hooded guy and the Luna member were on the side of the wyvern, one of them seemed angry at him for interfering in his battle, the other seemed like he'd want a fight... great. Nikolas turned around and saw Iola on the other side, het palms getting awfully close to the wyvern's body. Reacting with instinct, Nikolas jumped at the exact moment the contact was made. The wyvern's body was propelled in the opposite direction, Nikolas lost his balance in the air and hit the floor on his face. He got up, his nose bleeding and placed his sword in defensive position, looking at Iola. He didn't care about the other two, the enemy was in front.
"Guess it's my turn to face you, devilish Lady, let's see what you've got."

Ares wasn't too fond of the people around him. Hell, he liked... what was her name... Iola, I think... probably the most. She had a unique fighting style that he couldn't wait to completely romplestomp. But, the old vet didn't seem to like his plan. Ares tried to ignore him, but Jac remembered what he said. And then there was the wyvern...
The damned wyvern nearly crushed him and the girl he was fighting with. All of a sudden the wyvern comes flying towards him. Ares ducked, luckily the wyvern got pushed to where it was flying above his crouched body, and then stood up, scowling at the pair in front of him.
"Now now... that wasn't very nice," he said. "Just because I've been trying to kill you doesn't mean you have to throw a dragon at me. Like really. Not cool. Also, This is my fight. I'll be returning to it, without interruption."
Ares jumped in front of Nikolas and gave him a steady glare. Afterward, he turned to Iola and blew her a quick kiss before resuming the fight.
(note: he hasn't resumed fighting as of yet, the last action taken was blowing a kiss. Also, he was talking to Iola at first, and then Nikolas.)

Upon request, the Mend Staff's light soon blanketed the area, Raine could see that the light hit Volund, and even her brother. She then secured Volund next to her brother against the HQ gates and took out her Bolting tome. This woman and the screams that accompanied her had to go. Raine then approached Freya,
"Captain, I'm gonna try to hit her with my long-ranged spell, this battle has gone on far too long and I don't know how much more we can take. Do you think you can have those guys clear out of the way with a signal when I'm ready?"
Raine began the incantation...

Kale sensed someone powerin up. Kale reached into his pockets and took out his glasses. He quickly turned to the direction of said power and put his hand to the side of his head.
"Wait, Niki! Do you sense that? Is someone's power level over 900- blurgh," Kale couldnt even finish his subpar quip. For the saiyan in question was currently bouncin off Kale's head. His glasses flew off and hit the ground.
"HEY! WATCH THE AHOGE!" Kale dusted himself off and reached for his glasses. Kale looked back at the jumper in question and yelled, "NO, DONT MIND ME YOU INCONSIDERATE PRICK! NOT LIKE I'M NEAR SIGHTED OR ANYTHIN!" Wait... wasnt the Chunnibyou wearin different clothes... when did he find the time...?
Is... is he a mahou shoujo...?
-----------
“Hey Niki! Wasnt the chunniby-” Kale yelled back behind him to... absolutely no one. Wait, what...!? Where the hell did he go!? Wasnt he right behind me!? Well at least it was easy to find him... Just follow the sounds of destruction.
“SKREEEEEEEE.........! CRASH!”
Kale yelped and covered his ears from the deafening crash. He got up and looked at the wreckage. I think I found him... Wait, why the hell is there a dead wyvern there... and why the hell is Niki on the ground near the witch...!?
-----------
Kale ran towards the crash site hopin to help Niki. Even though he was a ruthless murderer and all... he was still a fellow clanmate. Luckily, it looked like the other two fighters were distractin the witch. Maybe she won't notice me... Kale reached into his jacket and grabbed a dagger. What did that Merchant Anna call it... Venin Edge? Whatever, she did say it had enough poison to really fuck someone up. It did cost quite the pretty penny... hopefully Freya'll compensate me. With a flick of his wrist, he threw the dagger between the other two people and at the stomach of the Vein Lady. Worst case scenario, she'll dodge it, but it'll buy some time to help Niki up.
“Oi Niki, you alright?” Kale asked as he approached the fallen swordman. Luckily Niki was conscious and was able to get up on his own.
"Guess it's my turn to face you, devilish Lady, let's see what you've got."
“Oi Niki... that line would sound so much cooler without the nosebleed. Right now, you just look like a pervert...” Kale sighed as he reached into his jacket for his other daggers. “Well at any rate... what're we gonna do now...?”

The wyvern's dead body went flying at Iola's touch. Before she could check for survivors and follow up an attack, a knife flew towards her. Barely she managed to twist away in time, the Venin Edge thudding uselessly into the ground behind her. Close one. She returned her attention to the fight at hand.
A small smirk wormed its way into Iola's face as Nikolas rose to challenge her. He might have been quick enough to get off the wyvern, but his unceremonious landing on his face was rather amusing. Still, Nikolas was quicker than the other dead Celestial members that had stood in her way. "Very well. Keep up if you can. Even if you all united against me, you would still not be strong enough," she said haughtily. The battle was still tipped in Acheron's favor, especially with the Celestial Alliance leaders practically nonexistant. Iola was curious to see if any of their members could stand up to her for more than a few seconds. Jac had jumped in the way, but she paid him no mind. She dashed towards Nikolas, her hands moving in a strange pattern as she neared Jac. She aimed against him first - she would make him move out of the way and continue the assault on Nikolas, or literally push Jac's body into Nikolas if her hit connected. Iola's veins visibly pulsed as her strange power infused her strikes. Her actions were somehow even more powerful and faster than before; she had recovered from some of her earlier fatigue. Her mind was set on killing Nikolas - the others merely distractions in her way...
Meanwhile, Freya struggled against the onset of wyverns and pegasi. This clan Acheron, or whoever they were... their riders were tough - rivaling even Gael's famed riders. Stuck on the ground, with only a two-handed sword to swing against swooping opponents... it was a difficult fight. She cleaved one foe in half, only to have another pegasus rider plunge against her for the kill. She turned desperately, knowing t hat she could not possibly block the attack in time. Right at that moment, an arrow struck the pegasus rider. Her opponent's aim was thrown off, as the rider tumbled to the ground, the pegasus crashing without any guidance. Freya gasped in surprise, turning to whoever shot the arrow. She saw a young man she'd never seen before, crying out gleefully at his successful shot. Freya grinned gratefully at Jason; it seemed Celestial Alliance had allies in unexpected spots.
The sheen of magic coated the area, the healing effects blanketing both Volund and Ulric. Volund's face visibly regained some of its color after the healing effects. Tears sprang into Freya's eyes as she saw the change. As Raine came to join her, Freya nodded in agreement to her plan. "I'll clear out a path for you to aim," she promised. Then she cast another glance at Jason, smiling at him. "Besides, it looks like we might have some extra help..." With both herself and Jason clearing a path, and Raine preparing a spell... perhaps they could turn the tide in their favor. Freya launched into the fray, determined to defeat enough foes to give Raine a clear shot against Iola.

After "helpin" Niki up, Kale looked back at Iola just in time to see her dodge his knife.
Godamit! There goes 2 months of gold... Looks like she barely dodged it though... so at least she's human... but my Venin...
With a melancholy sigh, Kale mentally counted the Celestial Alliance members still in fightin condition (i.e. not unconscious, bleedin profusely, and/or dead). Includin himself, there were 4 that were both near Iola and could actually... maybe... not die in a second... but only 1 he actually somewhat trusted. Kale quickly closed the distance between them and whispered in his ear, "Niki, I feel like theres... too many cooks in the kitchen if ya get my drift. I feel like we'd get in each other ways more than help. And by that, I mean you're gonna kill anyone in a 3 foot radius regardless if friend or foe... I'll try and create openins for ya. Besides..." Kale looked up at Iola and saw her gazing at Niki, like the look of a predator stalkin its prey... hungrily sizin him up. "Wouldnt wanna be the third wheel, ahaha."
Just as the words left Kale's mouth, Iola began rushin at the Chunnibyou. Not one to squander opportunities, Kale decided then and there to retrieve his precious Venin Edge while they fight. Hey, don't be judgin me now. Daggers arent free now... especially poisonous ones. With a shout of good luck and a slap to Niki's back, Kale quickly began to run towards his dagger. Unsure if the blood lust he felt was from Iola or Niki made his legs run all the more faster. Iola either didn't notice the diminutive vegetable or didn't care. Didn't matter to Kale, he safely grabbed his poisonous blade. He looked back and noticed Iola's veins glowin yet again...
Uh oh... better go help before she blows someone away again... Kale recalled the taunt Iola said to them before dashin towards the Chunnibyou. Keep up she says... lol, sure. There's only one person who can handle my speed... and he ain't here.
In no time at all, Kale was face to face to Iola's defenseless back. She looked to be preoccupied with the other members. With uncontainable glee, he quickly jumped towards her. He kept his poisonous blade in his hand this time and slashed at her shoulder while spinning away from a potential counterattack. He felt his dagger cut through fabric, maybe skin. He didnt hav time to think about that, as instinct began to dictate his movements. Using the momentum from his attack, Kale used his right foot to pivot and jump backwards while facin Iola again. Wastin no time, he reached into his jacket and plucked another dagger from one of his many holsters. Although the back was a much larger target, there was the inherent danger of attackin his fellow clanmates if Iola dodged his dagger yet again... He instead opted to throw it at her thigh; the dagger'll either reach his target and really restrict her movement, or she'll dodge it and giv Niki hopefully an openin.
Hit and run successful! Jeez I got it easy. Just be a pest and let the other guys handle it.
"Jeez Niki, hurry up and beat her already! If you dont hurry up, I might steal your kill! Lord knos I need the exp..."

Before he could even start fighting Iola, Jac/Ares got up and placed himself in front of him, saying it was his fight or something like that. Then Kale got next to him and seemed read to fight, with daggers.
"Very well. Keep up if you can. Even if you all united against me, you would still not be strong enough."
Then Iola ran in his direction, Nikolas was ready to receive, even if Jac was between them, the guy maybe wouldn't be able to block the attack, so he had to be ready. At that moment, Kale dissapeared with a good luck and a slap on his back.
Looking at Iola dashing, Nikolas noticed her hands moving, it wasn't going to be a simple attack, something magical was going to be used, maybe like the wyvern? but a human body wouldn't be able to withstand a hit like that, it would probably explode... did Jac know? Nikolas he had to act before that useless guy got killed, even if he didn't care about him, he was still some kind of clanmate. Nikolas ran toward Jac's back and aimed for his ankles while sliding. The timing was perfect, Jac fell over on the hit and Iola's hand pushed the air right where he was a second ago, all 3 where now really close, Nikolas pushed Jac on the ground and used his sword to push Iola a little further, sadly, the side of his blade hit the lady and not the cutting part, so she probably wouldn't have any damage. From what he saw, he didn't want to be in range of those hands, they were magical and could propulse things...
Nikolas saw Kale behind her back, with his daggers in his hands, he didn't flee? Anyway he threw one of his dagger, but Nikolas couldn't even see where it was headed, great now he had to be ready for that thing too, if Iola was dodging it, it would likely hit him... He positionned himself in defensive position, waiting for Iola to give him an oppening.

((Oh what the hell - I'm long overdue for a post))
Jayt wasn't one to simply sit back and allow the fight to continue without him. That wasn't to say that he was keen on dying either, but the current situation was less than favorable. He couldn't stand any of the people around him, and they seemed intent on taking on Iola single-handedly despite their serious lack of control, morale, and stamina. If anyone stood a chance against her, it was either the crazed boy who called himself Ares or Jayt himself. They were children, mere puppets to the clan's whims. Why hadn't a retreat been called? Clearly these people were outmatched.
Well if they died, it wasn't on his conscience.
The wyvern had thrown him for a loop, but he recovered with a grace he had almost forgotten existed within him. He rolled beneath the massive body, ignoring those it could still hit behind him in favor of reassessing his own situation. He snapped his blades back in place over his hands, fingers tightening on the triggers so he could release and activate them at a moment's notice. It seemed Iola's attention was now focused on the other insane person on the field (he was beginning to realize they were all a little like that) which left her back open. Jayt pushed himself to his feet and aimed at her back, finding himself thinking thoughts that were years old, wounds he had thought closed threatening to rear their ugly heads again. There was no smile, no enjoyment, in his features, only decisiveness and power. A dry tongue flicked over dryer lips as he - in seconds - had three strategies in mind.
For the moment, all of his attention was on her back, and Jayt slashed out soundlessly with both blades in an attempt to fell her before she realized she was being flanked.

Iola's hands missed Jac completely. His teammate had reacted quickly and gotten him to safely... and just with the briefest moment to spare. A single hit was all it took. The spot she targeted didn't matter; it didn't even matter if she struck against sword or flesh. The magical energy coursing through her body would blow anything away. She was a little careless and over extended herself, but Nikolas didn't have the time to capitalize. The dull side of his blade hit her side; she didn't even register it. She halfway turned around, but even then she knew... she was being surrounded by two other enemies; she would not make it in time. One even tore the clothe from her shirt, but before it could reach her skin... Abruptly she clapped her hands together. The power pulsated beneath her veins again, the opposing impacts pushing anything away from her within a few feet. The last enemy blocking their path fell by Freya's and Jason's powers. Freya looked up; the wind rushed back frantically away from Iola. There was now a clear path from their current position to Iola... and her last new technique had forced the others away. There would never be a better time than this. "Raine, NOW!" Freya shouted with all her might. This strike... for the sake of Celestial Alliance, it had to work. They were at their base... retreat was not an option, as they had little ground that they could lose.
(Please let Speedy post next, I'll skype other details to him.)

Having been targeting Iola from the start of the incantation, after a deep breath, sparks flew from Raine the moment her leader's voice was heard. Several lightning bolts surged within the air devestating any nearby flying foes that ventured too close or unlucky, though these weren't even the main force of the spell. Shortly after the smaller bolts faded, an extremely large bolt came crashing down at Iola with such a force it shook the ground they all walked on. Smoke and dust soon filled the area where the large lightning bolt had crashed.
Did it work...?No, it had to, that should've been a direct hit! Raine thought as the dust cloud began to dissipate.

The electricity crackled through Iola's body, the entire sky alighting with the spell's effect. When at last the lighting abated, Iola stood on the burnt, crisp ground. Her entire form had been burnt by the lightning. She collapsed to her knees, a small amount of smoke rising. The rest of the raging battle momentarily paused, all eyes turned to their leader. Iola collapsed, the fight leaving her completely. Her chest still yet rose with breath, her eyes flickering open... conscious, but barely. "Retreat!" One of the panicked wyvern riders cried out. What few remained from Acheron hastily began to fly back from the direction they had come. Freya smiled briefly... before she too, the weight of her battles upon her, fell to the earth. Now that her foe had defeated, her body allowed itself rest. Volund was still unconscious, albeit his face had more color than earlier. It seemed that whatever happened to Iola next... would be for the Celestial Alliance to decide her fate...

It seemed that the battle had finally been finished, Raine quickly tended to Freya and placed her beside Volund to rest a bit more. She then turned around to check on her own brother who was nowhere to be found. She faced forward once more and finally saw him.
Standing directly in front of Iola, staring right at her. He could no longer hear the voices. Ulric then asked "...Who...are you?" We might actually be able to pull some information out of this one, he thought as he managed to hoist her up and haul her into the HQ dungeons over his shoulder.
Raine followed behind swiftly to ensure her brother's safety.

Mages. How long had it been since he'd dealt with a mage? Jayt eased up from his position near Iola's body, warily assessing the fallen soldier and the caster who had actually brought her down. Considering she had been a late arrival, much like himself, it was more than likely she had been the one to see him in the dungeons. His face betrayed nothing though internally he was busy trying to figure out how to act. There were other things to concern himself with at the moment, however.
The two leaders were down, which left the fate of this insane stranger to the clan members. He almost wanted to laugh - considering half the people around him were crazy, he was shocked she wasn't dead yet. Still, a few were clearly using their higher level functions to realize that she might have information, and might be able to give them at least the reason for the seemingly abrupt, unprovoked attack.
As it was, the clan was a joke. A grim smirk briefly flickered over his lips as he was reminded of times past, but he shook his head. He wasn't an old man, for hell's sake. There was no reason for a twenty-four year old to be reminiscing. With nearly silent footsteps he walked over to the leader of their attackers and knelt by her body. If anyone spoke up, he didn't hear them. She needed to be his main focus for the moment before someone got the bright idea to try and attack her while she was down. He placed his fingers over her pulse, feeling it beat against them. Even as her eyes rolled around in her head, it was clear she was hurt. How she was still conscious was a testament to her determination or insanity, he wasn't sure which one.
One of the others - the one who had briefly spoken with the woman he suspected spying in the dungeon - approached the area and asked the question that many of them were likely wondering: "Who are you?" Of course, he then promptly carried her away. Without a word, Jayt followed.
At least this place was one he knew well now, or relatively well. He heard the shuffling of the other prisoner and found himself trying to hide a little smirk again. Hopefully the fool in the other cell wouldn't speak up. In a nearby cell, Iola was laid down rather than dropped, her head lolling to one side. She was breathing a little heavily, her cheeks pale, but knowing what she could do made him wary. He vaguely wondered if the cell they were putting her in was magically warded - they were unusual and difficult to find, and with how small this clan was, he doubted they had one. Still, it wasn't unheard of, especially if the building was old or from the time of the Exodites.
If Iola was going to provide an answer, he doubted it would be quick in coming. Her face betrayed little and for a moment, he found himself studying every slight twitch, every breath, every movement that spoke orders more than words did. Who didn't especially matter to Jayt or Cecil or whatever name he gave these people. Why concerned him much more.
"Was your mission to destroy the property, or this fledgling clan? They aren't a threat, so what was the point?" he demanded, his voice smooth and quiet but powerful and demanding to be listened to. He kept his eyes locked on hers, hands ready to move should he need to stop her from attacking. The last thing he wanted to deal with was her in fighting form again so soon after her initial defeat.
He thought of the female ghost's words - Elminsc's words - and clenched his jaw. Did they have something to do with this, a prediction of sorts? Or was she just digging around, an evil spirit with nothing to do?
No, he decided. If I try to reason that out, it'll only lead to madness.

With Kale and the hooded guy running around and attacking her from the sides, Iola seemed unable to counterattack, Nikolas was positionning himself to be able to deal the final blow. But then she used her weird magic again, clapping her hands together, she sent all of them away, Nikolas succeeded in staying on his feet, but he was too far to be able to still attack, he'd have to run closer.
"Raine, NOW!"
Nikolas was about to resume his offensive when he heard the leader shout, he stopped at the right moment, a huge bolt came down from the sky and crashed right on the enemy. Iola was still standing after the shock was over, everything was burnt around her, but before he could do anything, she fell on the floor, with smoke rising from her body. At that moment, the remaining invaders retreated in haste, flying on their wyverns and pegasi to where they came. Looking at the sky, Nikolas sighed, some people might think it was because it was over, but those who knew him well would probably know it was because he wouldn't be able to kill anymore enemys. He took back his attention on the dead leader on the ground.. which wasn't completely dead yet. Getting ready to finish of her off, Nikolas had to stop that plan right away, the hooded guy and Ulric were already next to her and getting ready to move in direction of the dungeons. Raine was following them.
The things seemed kinda in control outside, so Nikolas decided to follow them, despite his injuries. First he wasn't trusting this hooded guy yet, and second, maybe he'd still have the opportunity to finish off Iola.. and the thief from the other day was still alive too.
In the dungeons, Nikolas spotted the thief, he was in his cell and seemed scared, Ulric and the other guy placed Iola in a cell further away, he leaned back on the wall in front of the thief's cell and looked in their direction, in case something interesting would maybe happen.
"Was your mission to destroy the property, or this fledgling clan? They aren't a threat, so what was the point?"
Boring.. And this guy was saying they were weak. Just to give him a good reason to not like him. Nikolas took back his attention to the thief in front of him. He wasn't saying anything, looking at his target from the ruins that was kept alive.
