((RP continuing from here: celestialalliance.proboards.com/post/10)) At the top of a nearby hill, a figure had appeared. Or maybe she'd always been there, and the others had just not noticed. Her back was turned to the group, but she was clearly the source of the elegant song. Long, cerulean hair cascaded down her back. She was clothed in a beautiful dress, one of clear Ragnarok make. Apparently she had yet to notice those behind her, for she continued singing... From a different side of the hill, a man abruptly ran up to the 'ghost.' Although it was impossible to make out any distinct words from their distance, his voice was clearly harsh. "You're dead. I know I killed you!" The wind seemed to carry the select words to the group... The 'ghost' smiled faintly, her voice too soft for the others to hear... perhaps if they were closer...

"So the rumors were true," Jac said.
"Looks like the rest of this job will be simple enough," he said, while drawing his sword.
Once he had his sword out of his sheath, he charged at the "ghost".

Adelbern noticed the charge of his comrade and quickly charged to render all the help he can as well.
*This really isn't good, the lady had only recently appeared within our view and someone had screamed to it, obviously they were fighting it, most likely it was Volund, he was supposed to be here after all, and besides if she had kept herself from being seen even if she was there she must have been able to make us not see him too* Bearnard rushed through these thoughts, sadly it seemed Jac and Adelbern were more for rushing with their bodies rather than their minds. Doubtless they didn't realized that the man was obviously having problems and he already revealed that this thing isn't going to die to a simple sword, more importantly though even if it wasn't Volund they sounded like they were at least tired if not injured and if it were the latter then the most important thing to do here was aid him. Pulling out his sword and ax just in case Bearnard made his way around in a spiral closing in much slower than the others trying to get to the side of who he hoped was an uninjured Volund.

"ADELBERN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Orcatess choked out loudly. He couldn't keep up with their speed, nor did he want to rush into an unknown situation. He looked towards Bearnard, knowing he was most likely thinking the same. Watching his movement, he decided to spiral the opposite direction, hoping to flank the ghost and prevent her from escaping.
"Whatever we do," he called out in a now calm, yet urgent tone, "we must stick together! Do not run after the ghost, for that may be her true intention!"

“You’re not making sense,” he snapped, the words clearly a continuation of a previous discussion. His back was to the oncoming group. Despite the distance, his voice was clearly audible. “What are you, then? A ghost?”
Even he wasn’t so distracted as to miss the shouting. All in all they weren’t really that far away, whoever ‘they’ were. He grit his teeth in frustration. Of course these people would show up with no business in being there. Maybe they were part of that group the two siblings had mentioned to him. Well, their timing was brilliant.
With a snap of his wrists, his blades slid over his hands. It had been awhile since he’d last used them, but with the familiar action came the surge of adrenaline. Each movement felt completely natural, completely right. He put himself squarely between the ghost and the others, his blades hidden in the shadows of the night. His clothing was dark, leather bracers and greaves protecting him, while his cloak shifted with his movements. Even in the low light of the moon, his dark green eyes were piercing, his sharp profile illuminated starkly. His lips were in a tight, thin line. Though it was difficult to tell, he looked to be in his mid-twenties.
“What the hell do you all want?” he demanded. “Who are you?”

"I could ask you the same!" Shouted Jac.
"Why are you out here? And better yet, who is that woman you were calling a ghost?"

The woman's attention shifted to the two charging up the hill. It seemed like quite the party had come to greet her. But she was more surprised that her 'companion' had decided to step between them.
"It's not nice to talk about me when I'm standing right here," she grinned at the interesting group. "And you'll have to forgive my 'friend'," she motioned to the man standing in front of her. "He's never been much good with other people. But I'm hoping that some of you can manage to be a bit more civil." Despite the fact that her 'friend' and Jac had weapons drawn, the ghost appeared completely calm. If not for the ethereal glow about her, she would have appeared a normal person.

Jac didn't trust the woman, but if she wasn't murdering his face, he didn't see a reason to murder hers. He sheathed his sword, though he kept his hand near the hilt.
"My apologies," he said. "Might I ask who you are, as well the your, 'friend'?"

Even as Jac lowered his weapons, Jayt raised his. Every second spent with these people made him more acutely aware of the situation. While they weren’t a threat outright, they were interfering with his questioning. His eyes narrowed at the ghost’s term for him – ‘friend’. What a far cry their relationship actually was.
“I’m not your friend,” he said in a low voice, the edge unmistakable. “And you lot – get out of here. This doesn’t concern you.”

[Sorry for the late reply guys, the next few weeks I'm 100% free]
Orcatess reaches the apex of the hill, flanking the ghost, but facing Jayt.
"Young man, are you a citizen of this town?" His tone was calm and concise, and the question was rhetorical. "This concerns us because it is our land, and we will not defect."
Orcatess breathes in a shallow, cold night's air. He knows there's no chance a man three times the age of a capable fighter can keep up in battle, but he also holds a distinct advantage.
"Spirit... Madam, please tell us your wish, and leave this place of sanctuary."

"You mean you don't know who I am?" The spirit watched them curiously, a smug smirk upon her face. "My name is Elminsc," she introduced herself simply. Although she had just given a name, it was likely one they might recognize... In the past, Ragnarok had been a single clan territory, instead of under the Celestial Alliance's rule. Over forty years ago, Elminsc had been the head of Ragnarok's council... until she gathered the Exodites together in a war against the rest of the world. She and her twin brother had been responsible for most of the clans' collapse, including her homeland of Ragnarok... assuming that this was indeed the same Elminsc.
"So you want me to leave then, do you?" She looked at Orcatess. "I did not come, so I cannot leave. I am simply here. If not from my own will, then I must be here from Shaddai's. You all seem like you're part of a clan... or am I mistaken?" The ghost closed her eyes. "Shaddai wanted us to meet... me meeting with a clan, ha... so much has changed since I last walked this land."
She turned to her 'friend'. "Stop trying to send them away... or can you feel nothing? Perhaps the world has disowned you," she suggested, smirk still in place.

"YOU are Elminsc?" Jac asked.
He'd read books on her, and she certainly resembled Elminsc. But being a ghost in a cemetery, didn't seem like her thing.
"Hold on, I'm confused here." Jac said. "Why would someone want us to meet with you, Elminsc, how are you even here right now, and you," (he turned to Jayt), "Were you the one to end her life?"

Jayt glared at Elminsc and then at Jac. With a roll of his eyes, he snapped, “Do I look old enough to be the one to have killed her? The Exodites lived and died over forty years ago.” He wasn’t more than twenty-four at the most, so his statement made sense – forty years ago the Exodites attempted their coup. He wasn’t even born yet.
To Elminsc, he said nothing, though he didn’t leave either. He kept looking around them. This conversation/event had less to do with him than he originally had thought. It was pointless to sit around there – wasn’t like he had anything to prove to these newcomers.

Adelbern stopped but unlike Jac he did not lower his weapons, he didn't know how a ghost would attack but he doubted they would need weapons to do so, he even doubted his weapons would protect him but it was more of a comfort to believe they would. Mostly stuck in his thoughts he did not really know how to proceed seeing as he didn't really believe the ghost would be real, sadly it seemed it was so for now he would just be cautious and silent.
Bearnard "In his defense I remember hearing, You're dead. I know I killed you. You are the one who said that right? Although I just realized we are all being a little rude here, the lady here is the only one to have introduced herself, so if you may I am Bearnard Boyt and yes milady we are of a clan, my son Adelbern is over there, that is Jac, and he's Orcatess so that's the introductions for us, so all that's left is your name Mr. notfriend." Hopefully this will help ease some of the tension, then maybe I can move on to more important questions.

"I'm sorry to have offended you," Jac said to Jayt.
"And thanks Bearnard, I have no idea where my manners went."
Jac, being a trusting person, reached out to shake Jayt's hand.
"I trust we can not kill eachother and get along?"
